“On Saturday at 4 am, our beloved Mum/Grandmother had a fall out of bed. Kim was able to assist her by ensuring Granny was safe and warm and phoning 999 to enable her to be safely lifted off the floor. She also ensured our grandad (who also has dementia) was aware of all the things happening and kept him calm. She made sure the family were contacted and advised of everything that was going on.  Without Kim’s fast thinking, things could have been a lot worse. She managed the situation with great compassion and professionalism. She kept the environment calm for my grandad, who was worried about his beloved Wife. Our family are grateful to Kim for ensuring their safety was kept and that Granny was safely put back to bed with no injury or necessary hospital visits.  She has also liaised with the family on other safety measures she feels the family could implement.”
