Daniela is October’s Carer of the Month, her client’s family share why they feel so lucky to have had her come to stay, and how she’s made such a difference.
Daniela joined the Elder Platform in January 2022 & has provided 96 weeks of care.
Daniela has been a live-in carer for many years,and was inspired to follow a career in care after her father’s own care journey. She’s passionate about giving older people the opportunity to live a normal life in their own homes.
Daniela is a talented cook, and we’ve even featured photos of some of her tasty dishes on our social media. She also once worked as a television reporter in Romania!

If you had to describe Daniela in just a few words, what would they be?
Kind, caring and efficient.
“Daniela is like one of the family. She cares for mum in every way, personal and socially. She has worked tirelessly helping me pack up mums house ready to move, I couldn’t have done it without her! She is very patient and always puts her client first. Without Daniela saving my mum on the stairs I don’t want to think what would have happened. Anyone who has Daniela as a carer will be extremely lucky, I wish we could keep her!
On days mum gets a bit down. Daniela lifts her spirits, she cooks wonderful home cooked meals and helps look after the dog…the list is endless.”
