Once you’ve completed your first day of care with us, you can start accessing benefits that support your financial, physical and mental wellbeing, and can help you grow as a self-employed, live-in carer.

Competitive compensation

You’ll always be properly and fairly compensated for the care you provide with a competitive base rate of at least £700 a week.

Double pay on bank holidays

You’ll receive double your regular daily pay on every bank holiday you work, including Christmas.  

The Elder referral scheme

If you refer a friend to Elder and they complete 14 days of care through the Elder Hub, you’ll both receive £300.

Paid travel

We’ll cover your travel costs to and from your placement, regardless of how far you need to go.

Access to free e-learning

We’ll make it easy for you to complete your Basic Care Certificate, and enhance your skills in things like dementia and stroke care, through an external e-learning platform.

Supporting your wellbeing

Your happiness matters, which is why we’ll help engaged carers access a range of benefits through a trusted external provider, that could support your financial, mental, and physical wellbeing.
