Understanding our Shared Care Request process

Before we introduce a carer, our Safety and Trust team reviews some information about the person receiving care. Things like their medical conditions, mobility, diet, and any support needed during the night. We call this a Shared Care Request.

This helps us make sure any carer we introduce has the right experience and skills for that person's needs, and that live-in or visiting care is genuinely a safe, suitable option for the family.
