A live-in carer is somebody trained to look after older people in his or her own home. They have been thoroughly vetted by Elder and trained to look after those with long-term illnesses, reduced mobility, Alzheimer’s and dementia.

A live-in carer’s job description entails everything from light household duties and cooking to companionship and personal care, and everything in between. However, many of our care recipients tell us their carer is much more than simply an employee to them. What is there for older people in Camden?

While Camden is seen as a young and vibrant hub within London, many parts of the area are also surprisingly accessible.
